So many Catholics focus on the death of Jesus and not the resurrection. When we look at the cross we think, Jesus died for my sins. While this is true and good, it is only part of the message! The fact that he rose from the dead and conquered death is truly the incredible and grace filled part! Easter celebrates this and nothing celebrates it more than witnessing our RCIA candidates receive their sacraments at the Easter Vigil. They receive the promise of eternal life through Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist, something they now share with all the Baptized.

So, this Easter season we celebrate Patrick Barrott, Nicole LaCasse, Michelle LaCasse, Trudy Sirany, Quang Nguyen, Samty Xiong, Michael Przetycki and Alicia Schroeder and their full communion with the Holy Catholic Church. By their Baptism, they have become members of the living body of Christ. Please keep them in your prayers today.
