Please contact Meisha Johnson at: [email protected] or at 651-784-3015 x108 if you or your loved one would like to celebrate the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick. In an emergency please contact the parish office at (651) 784-3015.
There are two parish wide celebrations of the sacrament during the year at a Saturday morning liturgy. The Church teaches that the Anointing of the Sick is a community Sacrament. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that when people are anointed they should be "assisted by their pastor and the whole ecclesial community, which is invited to surround the sick in a special way through their prayers." (#1516). The Sacrament graces the whole person-body, mind, and spirit.
