The Justice League

The Justice League: An exciting new program with hands on experiences and field trips designed for those who’d like to dive into social justice. Each experience is different and designed around some of the 7 principles of Catholic Social Justice. There’s an experience for everyone!

St. Joe’s Trunk -n- Treats Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 6:00 pm—8:00 pm

This Social Justice event (known as St. Joe's Trick or Canning) has traditionally been a night of going into our neighborhoods collecting food donations and enjoying some great treats to help support local food shelves. This year will be different but just as fun and there are several ways to help!

First, we are looking for volunteers to decorate the trunks of their vehicles and a 6ft tube to hand out candy to trick or treaters. St. Joe’s will provide the tube and candy. You do the decorating.

To register you and your car click here!

We are also looking for volunteers to help in the following areas:

  • Collecting and sorting non-perishable food item donations
  • Flashlight God Squad in the parking lot
  • Concession stand that will benefit Hope4Youth
  • Social Justice Tent

To volunteer in one of these areas please click here!

We are also looking for donations of packaged candy for those who are decorating their trunks to hand out to our Trick or Treaters. These donations can be dropped off at the parish office during office hours.

And lastly, youth and their parents are invited to celebrate Halloween with Trunk n Treating here at St. Joe’s. Please bring Non-Perishable food items to donate to our local food shelf.
