Family Playtime at St. Joe’s on Wednesday Mornings
Join us on the Playground/Pavilion at St. Joe's for more Family Playtime from June 24 through September 2! We will meet every Wednesday -weather dependant from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Fee: $2.00 per child per session. No registration necessary! Come when it's convenient for you.
Baptism Preparation Classes
Our next Summer baptism class is scheduled for:
- Saturday, July 11 from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon in Rooms 101-103
All Baptism Preparation classes are from 10:00 am – 12:00 Noon here at St. Joe’s. Contact Jenni Hughes in the parish office at 651.784.3015, or by email at: JenniH@SaintJosephsParish.org with questions or to register for this class.
St. Joe’s Parish Food Drive: July 18 & 19
St Joseph of the Lakes is holding a food drive on the weekend of July 18 & 19, sponsored by our Knights of Columbus St Joseph Council 9905. Current demand at our local Centennial Community Food Shelf is very high, while donations are very low right now. The Knights will pass out grocery bags and financial collection envelopes after Masses this weekend July 11 & 12.
As usual, we will be collecting non-perishable food items and paper products. We also encourage financial donations, because that is where we can have the greatest impact due to the reduced-price purchasing power of Second Harvest Heartland.
If you are blessed with resources, please help feed our fellow parishioners, friends, and neighbors. Financial donations, non-perishable food items, and paper products can be dropped off at all Masses on July 18 & 19. Thank you and God bless!
New Small Group – The Perfect Prayer!
When asked by His disciples how they should pray, Jesus taught them the ‘Perfect Prayer’. Come and dive into the rich depth and beauty of this prayer like never before on Thursday, August 6 from 1:30-3:00 pm in Rooms 105-106! This small group will meet on the 1st Thursday of the Month.
