St. Joseph of the Lakes is currently seeking candidates for the following positions:

Director of Faith Formation

The Director of Faith Formation will, in collaboration with the Pastor, implement the mission and vision of St Joes parish through the Faith Formation program. Focusing on experiential learning and exploring relevant current topics with our youth age 3 thru grade 10, the primary objectives of this position include management and oversight of our faith formation programs and staff. This is done in partnership with the pastor, Faith Formation commission and other parish staff. The director will lead the Faith Formation team overall, as well as coordinate either the Elementary (Grades 1-5) program and sacraments, or the Middle School/High School (Grades 6 – 10) programs and sacraments, depending on their area of interest/expertise. Candidates must have a BA in education, theology or a related field. Background/experience in working with volunteers, children, leading co-workers and managing staff is beneficial. Director of Evangelization & Parish Mission

This individual will have the exciting opportunity to inspire and invite the parishioners to engage in the church and its ministries. They will oversee the coordination of the parish evangelization team, welcome new members, coordinate adult small group, our bi-annual parish mission and assist parishioners in discovering their charisms. This is accomplished by meeting with new and existing parishioners and assisting them in discerning their gifts.  Our newly formed parish evangelization team will work with this director in determining the best direction for our parish to grow in spreading the word of Christ to the greater community.  Experience with leadership, public speaking, coordination of presentations and group discussions is beneficial. Wedding Coordinators Needed - Part-Time

If you enjoy weddings and spending time at celebrations—this is a great ministry for you. This is a paid position that assists wedding parties at the rehearsals and on the wedding day.
