Middle School and High School Students: Join us for Extreme Faith Camp, Summer 2026!
Extreme Faith Camp is back! St. Joe's invites middle school campers (those entering 6th-9th grade in Fall 2026) to Extreme Faith Camp, hosted at archdiocese-owned Trinity Woods Catholic Retreat Center in Trego, WI, about 2 hours northeast of St. Joe's. Join St. Joe's middle school students/chaperones and others from local parishes for a unique, fun, and deeply prayerful experience. Additional specifics will be shared with registered students and their parents/guardians in March 2026.
High school leader opportunity: This year, our parish is also inviting high school students to attend EFC as members of the Prayer Team (9th grade and above) or the Extreme Team (10th grade and above) -- see below for role descriptions. Prayer Team and Extreme Team teens must arrive at Trinity Woods on Saturday, July 11th to attend training prior to the arrival of campers on Monday, July 13th. While Prayer Team and Extreme Team members can ride the bus back to St. Joe's with our parish's campers at the end of camp, parents will need to provide their own high schooler's transportation to Trinity Woods on Sat. Jan. 11th.
· Prayer Team: Develop your own prayer life by attending EFC with the primary goal of intentional prayer intercession for camp attendees and staff, led by a Prayer Team lead focused on your group. While Prayer Team members may participate in some camp activities, their week is spent as a Prayer Team group focused on prayer, being in service of others' wellbeing, and in serving the camp setting in practical ways as well. This may be challenging, but it can also be profoundly rewarding.
· Extreme Team: Use your confidence and sense of responsibility as a trustworthy leader and help adult chaperones lead a small group of middle schoolers (most likely from our parish); be an example and a witness of faith to your small group; attend camp with a service mindset, focused on helping the middle schoolers encounter God and have fun.
Dates: The camp runs from Monday, July 13th to Friday, July 17th, 2026. (Prayer Team and Extreme Team teens must arrive at Trinity Woods on Saturday, July 11th to attend training prior to the arrival of campers on Monday, July 13th.)
Cost: The total cost is $540 per participant and includes transportation, meals, activities, and camp t-shirt.
BOTH a non-refundable (for attending campers/prayer team/Extreme team)* $100 deposit (cash/check or online payment to St. Joe's) AND initial registration via this Google Form must be received by Monday, Feb. 2nd, 2026. *If your child's name is placed on the waitlist and we find that do not have a spot for your child for the 2026 EFC week, in this situation, your deposit would be returned.
· St. Joe's has a limited number EFC spots available for middle schoolers/Prayer Team/Extreme Team/chaperones from St. Joe's-registered families; once those spots are filled, interested students' names will be placed on a waitlist
Note: There are two separate EFC camps that run concurrently during the week we are going, one on what's known as the Trinity Lodge side of the lake and the other on the Champion Lodge side; this year, St. Joe's will attend EFC on the Champion side. Both sides of camp have access to EFC activities.
