Small Groups
Belonging is a natural feeling that all humans share. Everyone wants to be part of something. We all want to belong to a group of people that support us, that share their lives with us, and where we can live our faith. Families and friends inherently create small groups that make us feel included and loved. Even Jesus had his small group of 12 apostles!
The Archdiocese of Saint Paul & Minneapolis encourages the ongoing creation of parish small groups. As the first Synod priority from the Pastoral Letter* by Archbishop Bernard Hebda, “You Will Be My Witnesses”, small groups enable parishioners to belong and increase their daily faith life. While Sunday Masses and volunteering are important and connect parishioners, small groups focus on building relationships with parishioners and allow God to transform lives through prayer and fellowship!

The communal time includes prayer, music, a discussion of the Sunday gospel and some personal self-reflection questions for the week. Each group member selects their own level of participation.
