Volunteers are Awesome!

Anyone in the community is invited to help with our 2025 Summer Festival

It's true - just ask any of the hundreds of volunteers who made our past Parish Festivals a success.  Your help is needed for the events we have happening at our 2025 St. Joseph of the Lakes Summer Festival.

Volunteering to work a shift at the Festival is so easy.  You can  sign up online below or you can contact the  Festival Volunteer Coordinator Eileen Couture at (651) 786-2587 or Festival@SaintJosephsParish.org. Thank you to all volunteers who have already signed up to work or have donated items for the Picnic – or both!  We request that if you h ave not yet contributed this year, please consider some of the following ways you can be involved:

 

  • Sell your Grand Raffle tickets – if you have sold all of your tickets pick-up more, they are available after weekend Masses or at the Parish Office.
  • Volunteer to work a shift – help with set up or take down and with games. Sign up as a family! It is a great way to spend a few hours of quality time together while helping contribute to the success of our Parish Picnic this year!
  • Donate a basket for the Online Silent Auction – Donate a themed basket or new item valued at $20 or more. Sports equipment, tools, and liquor baskets are the most popular. Please consider donating your item as soon as possible or before July 30 as our Online Silent Auction starts on August 1 this year.
  • Help set up for the Festival(Friday, August 8 at 5:00 pm – rain or shine & Saturday, August 10 at 9:00 am)
  • Help take down tents and booths(Sunday, August 10 after the Grand Raffle drawing at 4:30 pm)
  • Sponsorships - Give a cash donation to offset raffle prize or other expenses – sponsorships/donations may be placed in a marked envelope in the church offering. Cash sponsorships/donations will be included in your annual contribution statement.
  • Donate Canned Pop & Bottled Water – we need Classic Coke, Diet Coke, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, Mug Root Beer and Orange Slice

  • Come to the Festival!  Bring your family and help us celebrate our St. Joseph of the Lakes parish community.
