End of our Lenten Journey

Please pray for those preparing for the Easter Sacraments

We’re so blessed to celebrate the Easter Sacraments for eleven adults who are joining our parish. Four will be Baptized at the Easter vigil, and another 7 are either joining us from another Christian tradition, or were Baptized Catholic and are now being Confirmed.

Please pray for them and please come to the Easter Vigil next Saturday to pray, support and welcome them to our parish.

To be Baptized: Chelsea Mickelson, Megan Wolf, Justin Keough and Rolf Gale.

To receive First Holy Communion and be Confirmed: Jack Knowlan, Natalie Storrar, Gretchen Mildon, Vincent “Indy” Jones and Matthew Kufner

Those to be Confirmed: Jineth Aizpurua and Noam Poisson.

Please pray for our Confirmation Candidates

Last weekend our Confirmation Candidates had a retreat day here at the parish as they prepare to be Confirmed. We are blessed to have 43 teens who will be Confirmed by the Bishop at the Basilica in Minneapolis on Saturday, April 26 at 10:00 am. Please pray for them as they prepare to receive this great outpouring of the Holy Spirit!

Thank all who have made our Lenten Journey so rich!

I want to thank everyone who has made our Lenten Journey so wonderful this year. As my first Lent at St. Joe’s, I have felt so blessed to journey these 40 Holy Days with all of you! Thank you to our Knights of Columbus, our Women’s Council, Men’s Group, and so many other volunteers who made our Fish Fridays and Tuesday Soup Suppers so Awesome! Praise God for all who came out for Stations of the Cross on Fridays, and thank you to all who have served our liturgies in any way from decorating, altar serving, lecturing, communion distribution, ushering, welcoming, music ministry, church cleaning and so much more! St. Joe’s truly is a special place! Thank you all!
