Guidelines
We ask that families limit decorations to two hooks/stands per grave. Personalized items need to be placed on the markers, not on the lawn. Seasonal flowers should be removed in a timely manner.
- All items left over the winter months need to be removed two weeks prior to Easter for Spring clean-up.
- Items left over the summer need to be removed by October 31 for fall clean-up.
Perpetual Care
Our parish groundskeeper provides on-going care of the cemetery grounds. Mowing, snow removal, and clean-up of items left on the graves is taken care of.
The parishioners of St. Joseph of the Lakes are invited annually to contribute to the costs of the perpetual care of the cemetery.
Infant Cemetery
An area of our set aside for infants. These graves are provided at no cost to families. Surrounding the infant cemetery is a beautiful walk-way featuring our stations of the cross and benches.
