                                                  2023 St. Joseph of the Lakes Summer Festival                                                       "Celebrating Community - It's a Wonderful Tradition Since 1908!"

The St. Joseph of the Lakes Summer Festival is a time for parishioners, their families and friends, and the entire community to come together and celebrate. We welcome all people and all age groups for a wonderful two-day celebration to share our love and faith in God.

Chicken Picnic

The Festival officially begins with an Outdoor Mass on Saturday, August 12 at 5:00 pm under the big tent.

Immediately following Mass is a Pork dinner, Joe's Bar will open with beer, wine and soda; games for kids, adults & more! Music & dancing will start at 7:00 pm with GB Leighton, then to top off the evening, we have a spectacular Fireworks Show! Join us Sunday, August 13 from 11:00 am - 2:30 pm for a Chicken Picnic. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children (no pre-sale). All meals include chicken, side of cloeslaw, JoJo potatoes, a slice of watermelon and a freshly baked cookie. Once you have your dinner - grab a spot to sit on our grounds and enjoy!

Grand Raffle

Check out the Silent Auction which has many exciting offerings! We are looking for new donated items with values of $20 and up. You can donate cash for purchasing items or putting together a theme basket. Need an idea?  Watch the bulletin for great ideas for single items and gift baskets. Silent Auction bidding will end at 3:00 pm on Sunday. August 13

Big Band music will fill the tend from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm followed by classic rock music provided by our very own Java Soul from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Try your luck in the Bingo Tent – where every game has a winner!  Additional outdoor activities include the Wine Toss, Confetti Bowl, Cake Walk and games for all ages, refreshments and lots of great food and a classic car show.

The Grand Raffle depends on all St. Joseph families selling as many tickets as possible! Prizes total over $20,000 including the Grand Prize of a week at a Florida Timeshare!

Have a cool classic car that you would like to show off at St. Joe's Summer Festival? Register your classic for the car show at our St. Joe's Summer Festival on Sunday, August 15 from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm.
