Daily Mass in Chapel

Daily Masses are now held in the Chapel off of the Worship Space. The place is changing not the times or days of the week - so we hope you will join us for Mass.

Job Opening

St. Joseph of the Lakes is currently accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant for staff/faith formation programs/Community Life/administration groups. The individual will ensure the timely production of correspondence, scheduling, program registration, data entry, sacramental record-keeping, calendaring and assist in communications. Hours are Monday -Thursday 8 – 4 and Friday 8 – 12:00 noon. Please submit a cover letter and resume to Fr. Family Playtime: Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am in the Childcare Room

Come and join us for Family Playtime each Wednesday Morning from 9:30-11:30. Enjoy fun activities for the children and an opportunity to meet other parents & caregivers. No registration necessary just a $2.00 fee per child. The more the merrier for our playtime.

Monday Word and Communion Service Discontinued

Due to lack of attendance, our Monday Word and Communion service will no longer be held. This is effective starting on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023. If, at a later time, there is interest in bringing this back we will reconsider our decision. If you have questions regarding this decision, please contact Fr. Mike Anderson in the parish office.

December Fair Trade Market & Breakfast: Sunday, December 3 after Masses in the Great Hall

Make a difference by shopping at our Fair Trade Market on December 2 & 3 after Masses. We’ll have beautiful and unique gifts from around the world and home baked cookies in a variety of cookie tins. There’s a hot breakfast of a French Toast bake, sausage, juice and coffee. Proceeds benefit our mission trip and charities that St. Joe’s supports.

The Solemnity of The Immaculate Conception Masses

Join us for Mass for this holy day of obligation as we celebrate in our worship space on:

  • Thursday, December 7 at 6:30 pm (Anticipatory Mass)
  • Friday, December 8 at 8:30 am

St. Joe's Giving Trees: Gifts due back on Sunday, December 10

There are 5 trees up this year with tags and we hope that St. Joe's can help make Christmas brighter for those in need this year. If you have any questions regarding the trees, please contact Denise Walsh at [email protected].

CCW Christmas Luncheon: Tuesday, December 12 at 11:30 am in Rooms 101-103

All women of the parish are invited to attend the CCW Christmas Luncheon at 11:30 am on Tuesday, December 12 in Rooms 101-103. Please join us and feel free to bring a friend. We hope everyone who helped with our recent Christmas Bazaar as well as those who helped with funeral lunches this past year will be able to attend. To help us plan for food, please RSVP to Cathy McCarty at [email protected] or at 651.784.3164.

The Men's Group meets on Tuesday, December 12 at 7:15 pm in the Parish Office lower level.  All men of the parish are invited to join us for the meeting and for refreshments afterwards.  We'll see you there!

No 8:30 am Mass on Thursday, December 14

Please join us for our Anointing Mass on Thursday, December 14 at 10:00 am in the Worship Space.

Mass of Anointing: Thursday, December 14 at 10:00 am in the Worship Space

All are invited to join us for a special Mass, the Anointing of the Sick on Thursday, December 14 at 10:00 am. During the liturgy all who wish to receive the Sacrament of the Sick will have the opportunity to be anointed. Anointing is for anyone experiencing physical, emotional, or spiritual distress. KC’s Calendars for 2024

It's that time of year again. The Knights of Columbus Raffle Calendars are now on sale and make great stocking stuffers. Daily winners have a $10 minimum prize and $20 to $50 or more for "special" gift days. Special gifts can be gas cards, grocery cards, dining cards, automotive repair certificates and much, much more! Calendars are on sale in the Gathering Space after Masses the weekends of December 2 & 3, 9 & 10, 16 & 17 as well as December 30 & 31. 50% of the proceeds are return back here to the needs of St Joseph's and the other 50% to other charities supported by the KC’s.
