Late Registration for the 2025-2026 faith formation program year is now open!

Our faith formation team looks forward to helping our parish’s children and youth grow in their personal connection with God in our world. 

Registrations made after September 1st include a late fee, and the child’s name may be placed on a waitlist until an open spot on our active roster can be confirmed.

Please register using the Google Form link below that corresponds to your child’s age/grade for the 2025-2026 school year. Each child must be registered separately. 

After you register your child, return to this page for the link to pay online (unless you wish to pay by check or cash at the parish office instead). 

We love our faith formation volunteers! We’re looking for help across a variety of roles. Check out the volunteer opportunities we offer and sign up to help make our programs a success again this year.

Here’s how to register for faith formation, pay for fees, and sign up to volunteer:

  1. Please read our Faith Formation Overview Letter (2025-2026).
  2. Read through the St. Joe’s Faith Formation Program Offerings.
  3. Select, complete, and submit the registration form(s) you need for your children.

4. Decide on your payment method for faith formation registration fees.

    • Payments can be made online through the St. Joe’s secure payment page (click the button below), or in cash/check brought in to the parish office during regular business hours. 
    • Scholarships (whole or partial) for faith formation fees are available this year. See the registration forms for more information. 

 

 

5. Consider joining us as a volunteer this year!

Adult Sacraments Classes This Fall!

Are you an interested in learning more about the Catholic faith or becoming Catholic? Are you unbaptized, baptized in another Christian church, or have not received Confirmation yet? If this is you or someone you know; St. Joe’s invites you to join us this fall in a friendly, small-group setting to explore the beauty of Jesus Christ through His Sacraments. Catechist Training

All 2025-2026 catechists are invited to our upcoming training sessions on Sunday, September 14. These gatherings are an important opportunity to prepare for the year ahead, receive curriculum updates, and connect with fellow catechists. We’ll also review schedules, classroom procedures, and share helpful resources to support you in your ministry. Please plan to attend and bring any questions you may have.

  • Middle School & High School (Confirmation) Catechist Training: 4:00–5:00 pm in the Great Hall.
  • Elementary Catechist Training: 5:30–6:30 pm is in the Great Hall.

Your presence and participation are vital as we begin another wonderful year of walking with our young people in faith! 

2025–2026 Faith Formation Kickoff Event

We are excited to begin another year of Faith Formation together! Please join us for our Elementary Kickoff Event on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 5:30–6:30 pm.

  • Parents will gather in the Great Hall to receive important information about the year ahead, including our new Parent Formation Nights, weekly schedules, and other program updates.
  • Children will meet in St. Joe’s Hall for fun activities and a chance to connect with their catechists and classmates.

After the meeting, everyone is invited to stay for the first Joe’s Diner of the season! Enjoy a picnic-style dinner of hot dogs, salad, chips, and a cookie (served outside, weather permitting). It’s a perfect chance to share a meal, catch up with friends, and celebrate the start of a new year as a parish family.

Adventure Kids Unite! - Sunday, September 28 of 2025 is our First Day of Class!

We are asking that at least 1 parent plan on attending the first day of class with your son or daughter in order to learn a little more about the program, meet your child’s teacher and what you and your child can expect this year. If already enrolled, you will get to meet your teacher, see your classroom and have a little fun!

Moms & Dads, if you haven’t enrolled but are thinking on it, PLEASE join us with any questions you might have and see what Adventure Kids is all about.

The orientation/first day is in St. Joseph Hall from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. If you have any questions before then, please contact Amy Ward at AmyW@SaintJosephsParish.org.

Ministry of Mothers -Small Group starts this September

No matter where you are in your journey as a mother and a catholic woman, we know there are plenty of joys and

struggles along the way. This small group is for mothers with children ages 0-18, bonded by their vocation and solidified by their faith. Our goal is to connect young mothers to form

lasting friendships and encourage growth in their relationship with God. This group's bible study will be starting up again in September on Monday nights, childcare is available. For more information contact MinistryofMothers171@gmail.com.

Baptism Preparation Class - Saturday, September 20—10:00 am—12:00 Noon

Our next Baptism preparation session is on Saturday, September 20 at 10:00 am in Rooms 105-106. Please call Jenni Hughes at 651.784.3015 to register for the class or if you have any questions regarding Baptism at St. Joseph of the Lakes.

“Living with Joy” Study Group - Mondays, September 22 through December 8 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm in Rooms 105 –106

All newly confirmed OCIA as well as all those in the parish are invited to join us for our new study called “Living with Joy”. We will utilize books from Mathew Kelly and Chris Stefanick. Sunday Homilies from Bishop Barron, Fr. Bill Deziel, Fr. Mike Schmitz and Monsignor Kenney Leone from various forms of videos, documentaries and movie formats. No books or study guides needed, just bring your bible each night. Steve Million and Andi Million are facilitating this study. OCIA classes start Thursday October 9th. We will meet from 6-7:15 pm and talk about the beauty of Jesus and His Catholic Church through teaching & interactive small groups. Please reach out to the parish office if you have any questions or would like to join us!
