Stations of the Cross
Fridays during lent at 6:30 pm in the Worship Space on: March 13, 20 and 27. On Good Friday, April 3 we pray the stations at 3:00 pm.
Lenten Fish Dinners
Join us for Fish Dinners on March 13 and 20 here at St. Joe’s from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Great Hall. Takeout is also available. These dinners are co-sponsored by Men’s Group and Knights of Columbus. Tickets sold at the door: $15 Adults, $7 Children 5-10 years of age, $45 Families. On the menu: pan-fried & baked cod, potatoes, green beans, creamy coleslaw, tomato basil soup and a variety of homemade desserts. Beer & wine available for dine-in only.
Lenten Soup Suppers on Tuesdays
The Knights of Columbus and Auxiliary are coordinating the Tuesday night soup suppers this year. Join us on March 10, 17 & 24 from 5pm to 6:30pm. It will be a free will offering with donations going to the Centennial Food Shelf. We will also have a drop box for food. We ask everyone to please come for great soup and St Joe’s community while also helping our neighbors who use the food shelf. Baptism Preparation Class
The next Baptism preparation session is on Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 am in Room 101-103. Please call Jenni Hughes at 651.784.3015 to register for the class or for more information on baptisms here at St. Joe’s.
Reiser Relief Benefit
Join Java Soul on Saturday, March 14 for a benefit concert for Reiser Relief. This organization named after Fr. Bernard Reiser is raising money to build a school in the poorest neighborhood in Haiti, Cite Soleil. Come and listen Java Soul, who is opening for blues artist Corey Stevens.

CCW Planting Party
The CCW are partnering with Waldoch Farm and Garden Center for a planting party. Join us on Monday April 6th at 10:00 am or 5:00 pm. Waldoch’s Garden Center is located at 8174 Lake Dr. in Lino Lakes. First Eucharist Preparation Session
All children preparing to receive their First Holy Communion in April are invited to attend our First Eucharist Preparation Session on Saturday, March 21 from 10:00–11:30am in the Church. This important session will help your child grow in understanding of the Mass and the Eucharist, walk through what to expect on their First Communion day, and feel confident and spiritually prepared to receive Jesus for the first time. We look forward to gathering together as we continue preparing for this beautiful sacrament!
Saints of Swing - Swing Dance on March 21, 7- 10pm
Join the Saint of Swing for a swing dance in our Great Hall on Saturday, March 21 from 7:00 – 10 pm. Admission is $14.00 for adults and $10 for students under 21, includes one beverage. There will be dance lessons at 6:15 that are included in the price of admission. Doors open at 6 pm. Come and dance or just enjoy a night of fabulous live swing band music.
Year 1 & Year 2 Confirmation Classes
Our next Confirmation class is Sunday, March 22nd. This will be the final scheduled class session for the 2025-2026 school year.
Year 2 Confirmation retreat — Saturday, March 28
Our retreat will be here at St. Joe's and led by a young adult team from NET Ministries. Our retreat begins at 10 AM, includes lunch, and will also including attending the 5 PM Mass. Families are welcome to attend Mass with their Year 2 Confirmation student(s).
Spring Flower Sale - Benefits our Mission Trip to Guatemala
We have our annual Spring Flower sale to help support our food shipment and mission trip to Guatemala. The plants are gorgeous and healthy and It’s easy to just view the selection online: www.gertensfundraising.com and our ID is 955. You can look for an individual to support or just the general group. Order early as some plants go fast!
New Prayer Group is Seeking Participants!
As our parish begins an Evangelization focus that is directed by our Archdiocese, one of the first needs is that of prayer. Therefore, a new Evangelization Prayer Group has begun meeting, please join us!
Date: Thursday, April 2, 2026
Time: 1:30 to 3:00 pm
Place: Rooms 105 & 106
This prayer group will meet monthly, on the 1st Thursday of each month, from 1:30 to 3:00 pm. Jacob Wilson, Director of Evangelization for Saint Joe's, will be leading the prayer. It will be a peaceful time of reflection, hope and insights as we pray for the success of the Evangelization Team and other parish needs. No experience is necessary, just a love of prayer and a willingness to listen and pray, through scripture.

St. Joseph of the Lakes Egg Hunt - Saturday, April 4
We are currently accepting donations of wrapped candy to help fill Easter eggs for our annual St. Joseph of the Lakes Easter Egg Hunt! If you’re able to contribute, we would greatly appreciate it. Please drop off your candy at the Parish Office before Wednesday, April 1.
Registration is now available online for this special event, happening Saturday, April 4 starting at 9:30 am in the Great Hall. We “HOP” to see you there!

Vacation Bible School - Rainforest Fall - June 15-19
Rainforest Falls (VBS) is geared for kids entering Pre-Kindergarten through of 5th grade for the Fall of 2026-2027.
Join us at St. Joseph of the Lakes Church this summer for a week of fun at Rainforest Falls (VBS). Rainforest Falls is a wild adventure deep in the jungle! Kids will explore rushing waterfalls, tall trees, and amazing animals while learning how much God loves them. With fun Bible stories, music, games, and hands-on activities, each day is packed with excitement, laughter and faith-filled discoveries. Get ready to explore, play, and grow at Rainforest Falls!
Cost is $65.00 per camper until Friday, May 29th. Based on availability, late registration will be accepted at a fee of $75.00 per participant. Click here to register your child/ren.
