Driver Safety Class
Attention Drivers 55 years or Older: Attend Driver Safety Class to receive 10% off your auto insurance. The course taught follows the State of Minnesota guidelines. Our next class will be held at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church on Saturday December 13, 2025 beginning at 9am. The cost for the class is $20 per person. Family Faith Formation Christmas Event
We are excited to invite you to our Family Faith Formation Christmas Event on Wednesday, December 17 from 5:30–6:30 pm in the Great Hall! Join us for a joyful evening filled with:
- Christmas Bingo (with prizes!)
- Festive crafts & activities
After the event, please stay and enjoy a delicious Christmas meal served by Joe’s Diner starting at 6:30 p.m.
You won’t want to miss this special evening of fellowship, fun, and Christmas cheer with our Faith Formation families and friends! We look forward to celebrating with you!
Help with Poinsettia Delivery & Decorating the Worship Space for Christmas
Monday, December 22 at 10:30 am we are looking for help to unwrap poinsettias and to decorate the Worship Space for Christmas. We would love to have 15 to 20 volunteers. If you can help please contact Andrea Grasse at AndreaG@SaintJosephsParish.org or at 651.784.3015.

Saint John’s Bible This Week – Genealogy of Jesus
On this 2nd Sunday of Advent, we have the opportunity to gaze on the Genealogy of Jesus – illuminated in a menorah, we are reminded that Matthew was writing to a Jewish community who would have found it natural to begin the story of Jesus with his pedigree. Gaze upon and pray with this illumination on display in the Gathering Space, or on the St. John’s Bible website at www.saintjosephsbible.org and click on SEE THE BIBLE. It’s a very rich and meaningful illumination.

Knights of Columbus Hockey Challenge
All boys and girls ages 10 to 17 are invited to participate in a local level competition for the 2026 Knights of Columbus Hockey Challenge. The local competition will be held on the following dates: Wednesday, January 7, 2026 in the Great Hall after Faith Formation and Sunday, January 11, 2026 in St. Joseph Hall after both Masses. The winners have the opportunity to participate at the State event held on April 18, 2026 from 9am to 1pm at St. Joseph of the Lakes in St. Joseph Hall. Hockey sticks are provided, but if you prefer to use your own, please bring it with you. Kids younger than 10 are also welcome to participate but will not be part of the State competition.
4H Lino Lakes Family Dance Party
We have FUN for ALL with preschool play areas, free carnival-style games, door prize drawings, refreshment sales (Root Beer Floats), and good old-fashioned dancing! All proceeds are being donated to Anoka County 4-H Camp Salie programming! Help us send a camper to camp while dancing the night away!
