No matter where you are in your journey as a mother and a Catholic woman, we know there are plenty of joys and struggles along the way. This small group is for mothers with children ages 0-18, bonded by their vocation and solidified by their faith. Our goal is to connect young mothers to form lasting friendships and encourage growth in their relationship with God. 13 KC's Pancake Breakfast
The Knights of Columbus at St. Joseph’s have their annual fundraiser Pancake Breakfast this Sunday, October 13, after all Masses in the Great Hall. The KC’s Ladies Auxiliary are also holding their bake sale at the Pancake Breakfast. This meal is a free will offering and funds will be used to support the Lakes Life-Care Center and PLAM (Pro-Life Action Ministries). Thank you for your Generosity!
Adventure Kids
Children's Liturgy of the Word
Those children in Grades 1-6 are invited to their own special readings of the week during the 10:00 am Mass. They will be called down to the leaders during Mass by the priest and then follow the leaders to Rooms 101-103 for their own readings for that Sunday's Mass. The leaders will then bring them back to the Worship Space to join in on the liturgy of the Eucharist. Have you ever wondered what the various parts of the Mass mean? Do you get questions on why Catholics kneel, sit, and stand at various parts of the Mass? If you want to learn more about the Mass and get your questions answered, you are in luck! As part of the Archdiocese's Synod focus this year being the Mass, St. Joe's is having a 5-week Bible study on the Mass. The sessions are Wednesday mornings from 10:00 - 11:30 am in Rooms 101-103. The dates are October 23, 30, November 6, 13, and 20. We are using Edward Siri's "A Biblical Walkthrough the Mass" and learn about the various parts of the Mass together. No cost to attend. Please join us!
October Rosary with Dessert
Mark your calendars! In light of the month of October being the month of the Holy Rosary, we are hosting a Marian Rosary with Desserts and Coffee to follow on Wednesday, October 23 at 1:30 pm. We first pray the Rosary together in the main Church (beginning promptly at 1:30 pm), and then process down to the Great Hall where we will enjoy dessert and coffee together from 2-3pm. Our boo-tiful event is on Saturday, October 26 at 6:15 pm until 7:45 pm. Entrance fee is $2 or two non-perishable food items per person at the door. Join in the fun by helping in a number of ways:
- Donate a bag or two of treats at the parish office
- Use your creativity to create a themed doorway where kids will trick-or-treat. We can suggest a theme or you can come up with your own. Decorating team starts Saturday, October 26 at 10:30 am
- Sign up to wear a costume and be a door person that hands out candy to our trick-or-treaters
- Sign up to help at one of our fun game stations
- Sign up to help at our concessions area in the Great Hall

Children's Liturgy of the Word

Those children in Grades 1-6 are invited to their own special readings of the week during the 10:00 am Mass. They will be called down to the leaders during Mass by the priest and then follow the leaders to Rooms 101-103 for their own readings for that Sunday's Mass. The leaders will then bring them back to the Worship Space to join in on the liturgy of the Eucharist.

Open House

Ministry of Mothers Bible Study

No matter where you are in your journey as a mother and a Catholic woman, we know there are plenty of joys and struggles along the way. This small group is for mothers with children ages 0-18, bonded by their vocation and solidified by their faith. Our goal is to connect young mothers to form lasting friendships and encourage growth in their relationship with God. Bible Study on the Mass

Have you ever wondered what the various parts of the Mass mean? Do you get questions on why Catholics kneel, sit, and stand at various parts of the Mass? If you want to learn more about the Mass and get your questions answered, you are in luck! As part of the Archdiocese's Synod focus this year being the Mass, St. Joe's is having a 5-week Bible study on the Mass. The sessions are Wednesday mornings from 10:00 - 11:30 am in Rooms 101-103. The dates are October 23, 30, November 6, 13, and 20. We are using Edward Siri's "A Biblical Walkthrough the Mass" and learn about the various parts of the Mass together. No cost to attend. Please join us!
