We’re looking for a small team of adults to help sort medical supplies to be sent to third world countries all over the world. We are packing from 9:30 am to 12:00 Noon at Global Health Ministries warehouse in Fridley 7831 Hickory St NE, Fridley, MN 55432 on Tuesday, October 5. We will meet at the warehouse where social distancing protocols are in place. Sorting involves walking through the warehouse as a small team to collect supplies and place on a pallet. It will later be shipped to help small medical clinics in places experiencing poverty – some very remote who are serving those with little medical supplies or opportunity for medical attention. Please let me know if you are interested in this opportunity to be a part of this experience. Email DeniseW@SaintJosephsParish.org if you are interested or you can sign up at the parish office.

Adventure Kids is our Pre-School and Kindergarten Faith Formation program offered on Sunday's during the 10:00 am Mass. It is a place for age 3 to Kindergarten children to begin their Faith Formation journey in a safe and creative environment. Through song, crafts and other interactive activities, we use stories from the Bible and discover how to be a Child of God. Please register by August 31, 2021 or if later please contact Amy Ward at AmyW@SaintJosephsParish.org. On October 17 we start at 10:00 am in The Great Hall.

Come join us for fun at our MEA Night on Friday, October 22. We start the night off by meeting at Bowlero in Blaine for bowling, laser tag and playing an arcade game or two. We then travel to St. Joe’s for a pumpkin carving contest some pizza and more activities.

Join us in the Worship Space as Fr. Mike Anderson leads a Teaching Mass where each participant learns why we do what we do at a Catholic Mass. Participants also learn ways they can participate in Mass and this Mass does count for your Sunday Obligation. This event is open to all. | 25 Baptism Preparation Class
First-time parents and parents new to St. Joseph’s are required to attend the preparation session prior to their child’s baptism, preferably before the child’s birth. If this is your second, third or fourth baptism at St. Joe’s within five years, you are encouraged, but not required to attend the session. Please call Andi Million at 651-784-3015 to register.
