Stewardship Drive
Thank you to all who have so generously responded to our stewardship drive. It is humbling to see such a tremendous response. If you haven’t responded yet, there is still time. Just take a moment to fill out the card that you received in the mail, or you can find them in the pews too, or just use this QR code:
Inspired by the widow who gave her only two cents as an offering at the Temple, I humbly challenge everyone to consider offering 2% of your income. Offering 2% is something that most of us can probably do, and many of us already offer that and more. I’ve signed up electronic giving because it’s so easy and I never forget, and I encourage you to try it as well. I thank you for your generous offering and commitment. May God bless you!
Interested in Becoming Catholic?
Our OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) is off to a great start. The group meets Thursdays at 6:30 pm and is for those who are interested in becoming Catholic. We have a dozen people participating in this process and there’s still room for more. Three participants are Catechumenates which means they are preparing to be Baptized, and the others are Candidates, who are already baptized and come from other Christian Traditions. If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith, please contact our OCIA coordinator Jacob Wilson at the parish office.
Winter Daily Mass Changes, Confessions Added
Friday daily Mass is now in the Worship Space of the main church at 8:30 am with confessions starting at 8:00 am.Tuesday evening Mass is now in the chapel off of the main church at with confessions starting at 6:00 pm. These changes allow for confessions on Tuesdays and Fridays in the confessional at the small chapel in the main church. These changes also make it easier for me and others to be at Mass on Tuesday evenings and attend meetings afterwards in our main building. Masses will continue to be in the Historic Church at 8:30 am on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Thank you for rolling with these changes!
Parish Advent Reconciliation - December 11
Wednesday, December 11, we have our parish and Advent Reconciliation time. Just come to the Church anytime between 5:45 pm and 7:15 pm. Multiple priests will be on hand to celebrate the Sacrament with you. We’ll have beautiful music and readings throughout the evening. It’s a great time to settle your soul in the quiet mercy of the Lord as we prepare for Christmas. Joe’s Diner is open from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm in the Great Hall and they are serving a delicious meal with a Christmas themed dessert for a freewill offering.
