I have been given an opportunity to go on a health and wellness sabbatical and I welcome this opportunity. I will be going to the St. John Vianney Center in Downington, PA where I will be participating in a weight loss and wellness program. I also will be working with physical therapists and doctors and nurses as I continue to manage my heart and kidney failure issues. This all comes at a great time for me as my knees continue to grow weary and I find walking more and more difficult.
While I am gone Fr. Daniel Bodin will function as the Parochial Administrator of our parish, and he will continue to be pastor of St. Peter’s in Forest Lake. There will be other priests who will be called in for Masses and sacramental support. I am to arrive at the center on October 4th and I am not sure exactly when my time there is completed. I will send you more information as I am able during this time.
