A few weeks ago I gave an update of the Archdiocesan synod process. I gave you the basic outline of the points that will be covered in the synod. I also told you that the synod would take place on Pentecost of 2021. A day after this was published the Archbishop told us that he was moving the synod back by one more year citing the difficulty of getting people together to meet in small parish groups. So now the synod will take place on Pentecost 2022. He also requested that parishes begin praying the pre-synod prayer for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis on a regular basis.

Come Holy Spirit
Make our ears to hear
Make our eyes to see
Make our mouths to speak
Make our hearts to seek
Make our hands to reach out
And touch the world with your love.
